Time: 9:30am -3:30pm Free early arrival /late pick-up. 9-4pm Earlier drop off available, fee applies.

Week 1: July 18-22 Week 2: July 25-29 Fee: $295 per week

Fine Art Instruction and week long projects in Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Puppet Making … plus crafts & games. Full days for 6-12 year-olds who enjoy making art and creative play.

*New! Week 3: Aug 2-5, 12-15 year-olds Fee: $235/ 4 days

*Advanced Art Intensive allows teens extended time to work on 2D and 3D projects with guided instruction. Age appropriate themes and ideas will be explored over the course of the session with an emphasis on self-expression.

Your art instructors include:

Andrea Zimmer is a graduate of Emily Carr College of Art & Design: Diploma in Fine Arts and Royal Ontario Conservatory Artist-Educator Foundations Course. Andrea is the Art & Children’s Activity Facilitator at Kincardine Scottish, Lighthouse Blues and Heritage Marine Festivals. Andrea recently designed and constructed puppets for Kincardine Lighthouse Players show "Ian & Friends".

Athina Hunter holds an Honours BA with distinction from the University of Toronto in Fine Art, Architecture and Fine Art History. She is a resident instructor with the Southampton Art School and is the owner and founder of Artemis Art Supplies and Studio in Kincardine, Ontario where she teaches expressive and technical drawing.

Week 2 includes:

Antje Martens-Oberwelland is an award winning artist and children’s writer living on a farm in Bruce County, Ontario. She studied Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany, specializing in sculpture, painting and printmaking. Her artwork is found in collections across North America and Europe. Antje is a member of FCA (Federation of Canadian Artists) and SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators).
